5 DUPLICATABLE Ways to Build Your MLM Team Online

Want lifestyle & freedom updates on Facebook?
Duplication, duplication, duplication in MLM! It can be a double edged sword…
How Can You Be Unique Online and Still Duplicate in MLM?
On the one hand you want to build a large organization of team members who know exactly what to do each day to build their business.
On the other – if you’re reading this anyway – you most likely want to use some online marketing to boost your prospecting.
It’s a tricky one and can trip up a lot of well meaning distributors. Many are inspired to make great videos and write wonderful articles but then their downline can’t seem to do the same.
Top Tip: I’ve noticed that no matter what you do the majority of your downline simply do what they want to do anyway so do not waste too much time fretting about this one!
You could have the most perfect ‘SYSTEM’ in the MLM universe and still most folks will find reasons to change it or do something different. It is the nature of team members aka people!
I hear you ask but how does that help me Rachel?
Okay here goes. I’m going to give you some concrete ways that you can use online marketing to attract more prospects and which you can help your downline with at the same time.
How’s that?
5 DUPLICATABLE Ways to Build Your MLM Team Online
1) When creating articles, videos, blog posts, tweets or any other content BE YOU. (Your best positive YOU of course!) Anyone and EVERYONE including all of your team members know how to be themselves.
This is essential in online marketing. They can’t try to pretend to be you. That being said, make sure to also work with them on posture and attitude. That way they can come across as their BEST self too.
2) Keep it simple. For online marketing you MUST, I repeat MUST have an online mlm funnel which attracts your prospects to put their details in so they join your MLM prospect list.
If your team members want to work online then either recommend they use the same MLM funnel/website as you to collect leads OR make one for your team. Yes it is that simple. One or the other.
There are no other options! Unless you call zooming around online, drowning people with information instead of attracting them into your ‘world,’ an option?
Once in your funnel you can build a relationship with them and educate them with elegance on what you have to offer.
3) Provide pre-written auto-responders (follow up email messages) for your team members. The easier the set up for them, the better. It still AMAZES me how many people over 25 haven’t a clue about anything technical online.
And then of course there is the copywriting. You can make a great website and online funnel for your team but if you can’t write compelling copy you might just as well whistle in the wind. (or go out and do some flyers..)
Pay someone to do your copy for your website and auto-responders OR recruit the skills that your business needs. You probably already have someone in your downline or upline who can write good copy. Trade skills.
4) Whatever content you create well, make it easy for your team to share it too.
Let’s say you write good articles. Write some 500 word articles and encourage your team to use them on their blogs. They can leave the author name and copyright on the bottom but they get to add their website link to collect any leads generated as a result of the article.
Other people can reprint your articles through article sharing sites so why not have your guys share them to build your team?
Have the person who creates the content put it first on their blog so they get maximum benefit on the search engines.
5) If you or someone on your team can make short videos (2 mins is long enough!) you can edit them in windows movie maker and add a team blog or website link to the video clip.
When the prospect visits the Team blog or website it can just say ‘name of person who referred you,’ as one of the fields to complete to enter the site. (see my company blog as an example if you like: MLM Team Blog)
With videos there isn’t even a duplicate content issue and everyone can write their one short paragraph to promote the video on their YouTube account or blog.
There you go – that way you can generate leads using the same blog or website. Not all of your team members are going to get to grips with having their own blogs etc.
BUT they may still want to participate in the online experience by having their webpage or shared blog link on their Twitter or Facebook page.
If you don’t teach them how to network well – the odds are they may network rather badly!
Happy Networking
